These are just some of the rocks that have been removed from the soil. The "hole" where the house will be built is behind where Vanessa is sitting. Steve's car is parked where the garage will go. The contractor plans to pour the concrete foundation (incorporating some of the rocks) by next Friday.
The walls of our log home are done! There is still work to be done on the home in Oregon before they number, dismantle, ship, and reassemble the home on our property...but it is exciting to see it literally taking shape!
