Moving Forward

As you can see from the photos, Treehouse Log Homes is moving forward with crafting our log home. The bulldozer and excavation equipment are being delivered to the site tomorrow. If the rain in the forecast doesn't get in the way, we should actually START CONSTRUCTION THIS WEEK! Some of you have asked where the log home is being built. To be accurate, it's being built in Salem, Oregon! They build it, label it, dismantle it, truck it to our site, and then reassemble it. Our property is in Garden Valley which is off of Highway 49 in between Auburn and Placerville.
